Adding a custom link to your course menu

Canvas is intentionally designed to be consistent across courses; however, it is possible to add a custom link in your course menu.

  1. Go to Settings->Apps in your course

  2. Search for and add Redirect tool.

  3. Click the +Add App button.

  4. Enter a name and URL for your custom link

Note: If adding a link to an internal page, uncheck the Force open in new tab option.

The link appears at the bottom of your menu. You can rearrange menu items if desired.
