Course Evaluation Cycle

Course Evaluation Cycle

This article summarizes the different student and instructor tasks as well as the open/close dates associated with course evaluations at Boise State.

Overview

The course evaluation cycle includes question personalization tasks and subject management tasks for instructors and fill-out tasks for students. Once students save or submit their course evaluations, data will be collected in various reports and released after grades have been submitted or the last report date for a term.

The course evaluation cycle is on a fixed schedule based on a course’s session end date as recorded in PeopleSoft. This includes all tasks assigned to instructors (things like the dates when instructors can add questions), those assigned to students (like when they start the evaluation), and the dates on which reports get released.

Evaluation dates and the time instructors or students have to complete their course evaluation tasks is fixed.

LTS is not permitted to open or close tasks early or reopen tasks once they are closed.
