Anonymizing a Qualtrics Survey
Anonymizing a Qualtrics Survey
Summary
This article explains how to anonymize a Qualtrics survey, which ensures respondents' identities are not linked to their responses, thereby preserving privacy and promoting candid feedback.
Note
An anonymous survey, where neither the researcher nor anyone else can identify respondents, is different than a confidential survey, where the researcher can access respondent identities but promises not to disclose them.
Instructions
Log into Qualtrics.
Navigate to the Projects page.
Click Survey options.
Click Security.
Toggle Anonymize responses.
Click the Distributions tab.
Click Anonymous link.
Copy and paste the link for distribution to respondents.
