This article will describe how to use iClicker's Single Sign On (SSO) implementation.

Instructions

Logging In

  1. Navigate to iClicker.com
  2. Under the heading Need to sign in through your campus portal, choose Boise State University.
  3. Click Go.
  4. Sign in using the standard login page.

If you're logging in through the iClicker Reef mobile app, you won't be able to log in using the Boise State portal. You need to enter the password you set when you linked your old account or created a new one. If you haven't yet linked your account or created a new one, please see the instructions below.

First Time Login

The first time you access iClicker through SSO, you will need to link either your Boise State or personal account – whichever one has your iClicker license on it or did in the past. If you don't have an account yet, you will create one. If you need to link your old account, see Linking Old Personal Accounts. If you need to create a new account, skip to Creating a New Account.

Linking Old Personal Accounts

If you're having issues linking an old account, please contact LTS.

If you log in using SSO and you previously had a personal account, iClicker will ask you if you want to link an existing  account or create a new one. You should link your old account by clicking Link To Existing iClicker Account and entering your previous email (this should be username@u.boisestate.edu) and password.

If you have both an employee and student account at Boise State, when you log in with SSO you will be logged in to your employee account. There is no way around this, so you must link your employee account to your old account.

Creating a New Account

If you log in using SSO and you have no iClicker account, you will be asked if you want to link an existing REEF account or create a new one. You should select Create A New REEF Account. The account's personal information will be determined by the information in your Boise State account. You will be asked to review iClicker's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Finally, you will be asked to create a password specifically for iClicker REEF mobile apps.

This password will be used for the iOS and Android apps instead of SSO. It will not be used for web-based login.

Finally, click Create Account.

Issues Logging Out

If you have problems logging out after logging in with SSO, try clearing your browser's cache. You can find instructions on how to this for Chrome and Firefox.
