Troubleshoot Audio Issues in Zoom

Instructions

Before a Meeting

Prior to starting your first Zoom call, please ensure you have tested your device audio. Also ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of Zoom, as older versions may have the potential for audio issues.

During a Meeting

If you have multiple audio devices, ensure the correct device is selected under Select a Microphone and Select a Speaker. If you are sending audio, you will see green levels in your microphone icon. 

If you do not see the correct audio device listed, leave the Zoom meeting, ensure it is detected by your computer, and re-enter the meeting. The audio device should then be listed under microphones and speakers.
