Activate Your Zoom Account

Effective May 27, 2025 all faculty, staff, and students will log in to Zoom with their Boise State credentials using the format username@boisestate.edu, followed by their password.

Students will NOT be able to login @u.boisestate.edu.

Instructions

  1. To get a Zoom account, simply sign in at boisestate.zoom.us. Use the email format username@boisestate.edu even if you are a student. @u.boisestate.edu is not a recognized username for Zoom.

    1. You will automatically be provisioned with an account upon first sign in.

Additional notes

  • Once a person has activated their Boise State Zoom account (by signing in at boisestate.zoom.us), they can be added to meetings as alt-hosts and co-hosts by other Boise State employees and students.

  • All Boise State employees and students have access to a fully licensed Zoom account after signing in.

  • If you currently have a Basic/unpaid/unlicensed account, simply sign in to boisestate.zoom.us to get upgraded to a paid/Licensed account.
