WHAT: The “Disallow Threaded Replies” box is checked in my Canvas Course Discussion Boards and I did not check it! Why did this happen and how can I fix it?
WHEN: This change was applied by Canvas to the Boise State Instance on August, 14th 2024.
WHY: Here is a letter from Canvas explaining the reasoning behind the changes.
HOW TO FIX: Manually uncheck the unwanted boxes in the Discussion Settings. Save the change. These changes will “stick” when copying into future courses, so will not need to be changed again.
