This article discusses the different student and instructor tasks associated with course evaluations at Boise State.

Overview

The course evaluation cycle includes question personalization tasks for instructors and fill-out tasks for students. Once students fill out and save or submit their course evaluations, data will be collected in various reports and released after grades have been submitted.

The evaluation cycle is on a fixed schedule based on dates that are configured relative to a given course’s term end date as recorded in PeopleSoft. This includes all tasks assigned to instructors (things like the dates when instructors can add questions) and those assigned to students (like when they start the evaluation).

Course Evaluation Dates

Visit the Course Evaluations webpage to learn when instructor and student tasks are set to open or close each term.

Evaluation dates and the time instructors or students have to complete their course evaluation work is fixed. We are not permitted to open or close tasks early or open tasks once they are closed.
