This article describes how to import a Zoom meeting created at http://boisestate.zoom.us into the Canvas LTI.

Instructions

  • Go to boisestatecanvas.instructure.com.

  • Login using your Boise State credentials.

  • Navigate to the desired canvas course.

  • Select the Zoom link in the course layout menu.

    • If the Zoom link is not available, select Settings → Navigation Tab → Enable the Zoom link → Select Save from the bottom of the page.

  • Select the ellipse button (vertical "...") in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

  • Select the Import meeting drop-down.

  • Type or copy-paste the Zoom video conference Meeting ID into the text field

  • Select the Import button

  • A message will be displayed when you have successfully imported the Zoom video conference.

Please note that a Zoom meeting can only be associated with 1 course in Canvas. If you want to use the same Zoom link for 2 different Canvas courses, you cannot use the integration; instead, just share the link directly with students.
