Instructions
Students must already have an iClicker app installed on their device (e.g. smartphone) or use in a browser on a laptop
Start
- Log in to the podium computer
- Log in to iClicker Cloud software
- Hover over the class and click on Start Class
Launch Polling
- Click Polling on the floating widget
- Launch any PowerPoint or other course materials you are planning on presenting for polling or quizzing
- Click on the Slide Show mode
- Click on the chevron and choose question format type
- Multiple choice is the default
- Click on the Start button (green button) to poll
- Click on the Stop button (red button)
- Advance to the next slide
- Click on the chevron and choose question format type
- Click on the Start button (green button) to poll
- Click on the Stop button (red button)
- Repeat Steps for more polling questions
Close out of the Polling Session
- Click on the left arrow (next to the green button) back to the Class Toolbar
- Click the red “X” to end the class
- Click End Class with Exit poll to ask students to give post-class feedback
- Click End Class to end your iClicker Course session
