Considerations
Historically, s_accounts were used as a mechanism for student employees to retain their normal student roles in Canvas or other systems.
Effective Jan 2025, s_accounts are the default mechamism for any employee who requires elevated access because these accounts can be auto-deprovisioned upon separation from the university.
Supervisor approval is required.
The process may take up to a week to complete.
An email will be sent when
The employee s_account is created.
The employee access is granted in Canvas.
