Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The simulation of human intelligence in machines, allowing them to perform tasks such as learning, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Machine Learning (ML)

A subset of AI where machines learn from data and improve their performance over time without being explicitly programmed.

Generative AI

A type of AI that creates new content, such as text, images, and code, based on patterns learned from data. Examples include ChatGPT and Gemini.

ChatGPT

An AI-powered chatbot developed by OpenAI that generates human-like text responses and assists with tasks like writing, brainstorming, and summarizing information.

Gemini

A Google AI model designed to assist with tasks such as data analysis, summarization, and content creation.

Natural Language Processing (NLP)

A branch of AI that enables computers to understand, interpret, and generate human language.

Prompt Engineering

The process of crafting specific and effective instructions (prompts) to get the best responses from AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini.

Data Analysis

The process of inspecting, organizing, and interpreting data to extract useful insights—something AI can assist with by identifying patterns and trends.

Automation

Using AI tools to perform repetitive tasks automatically, improving efficiency and reducing manual workload.

Bias in AI

The presence of unfair or unintentional favoritism in AI models due to the data they are trained on, which can affect the accuracy and fairness of AI-generated content.

Ethical AI

The practice of developing and using AI responsibly, ensuring it aligns with ethical standards such as fairness, transparency, and privacy.

AI-Assisted Decision-Making

Using AI-generated insights to support, but not replace, human judgment in workplace decision-making.

AI in Workplace Communication

The use of AI tools to improve efficiency in writing emails, summarizing reports, and generating content for meetings or presentations.
