Reset Canvas Course Content / Bulk Delete

There are times when a Faculty or Course Administrator might need a course to be “cleared”. This is the equivalent of a Factory Reset that clears the Canvas Course of all added content.

Instructions

 

This can only be done by a Canvas Administrator. Please contact the HelpDesk with your request. Include your Canvas SIS ID and request to “Reset the Course.”

Although we are often able to respond quickly, please give 24 business hours for this request to be processed.


Here is an example email sent to HelpDesk@boisestate.edu:

 

Dear Help Desk Team,

Hello. I am reaching out to request [Canvas SIS ID] have the content Reset, please.

[Faculty Member]
