How to Install the ProctorU Browser Extension

To take Review+ exams, students must install the ProctorU browser extension. This article provides the installation steps.

Be sure to use the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Other browsers are not supported.

Create a ProctorU Test-Taker Account using your Boise State student email address. If you already have an account associated with your student email, continue to the next step.
Download and install the ProctorU Browser Extension from one of the links below:
- Install the ProctorU extension for Chrome.
- Install the ProctorU extension for Firefox.
After Installing, click the ProcotrU extension icon in your browser, then click Login.
Enter your account information and be sure to enable the “Stay signed in” option, located under the password field. Sign in.
Once you sign in, close the ProctorU tab. Do not try to find or schedule your exam on ProctorU’s website. The Review+ service does not require scheduling an appointment. When you are ready to take the test, you will be able to access it directly in Blackboard (like other assignments).
