Summary

This article will guide you through the steps of creating a webcast.

Instructions

  1. Log into your Panopto account here.
  2. Click on the Create button.
  3. Click on Webcast.
  4. Enter the webcast's name, description, and select a folder to put your webcast in.
  5. Click on Create.
  6. After creating your webcast, its settings page will pop up. From here you can customize settings such as the preview image and availability.
  7. Open the Panopto app on your computer.
  8. Click on the Webcast check box at the upper right corner.
  9. Click on Join Session and choose the newly created webcast.
  10. When you are ready to record, click on the Record button. Click on the button again to stop recording
  11. Your webcast will begin. To let others view the webcast, click on Copy or Share to share the link to your webcast.
