This article contains a list of resources that Boise State Faculty and Staff can use to learn about the Canvas Learning Management System.

Information about Canvas Migration and Available Resources:

Add the Finishing Touches with a Instructional Design Consultant!

  • Designing Your Converted Canvas Course: eCampus and the CTL are providing Canvas Course-Design Work Sessions for faculty throughout August.

    • Each meeting will begin with a short walk-through of some of the common issues that faculty notice with their newly migrated Canvas courses.

    • Faculty will then be given time to work on their courses with Instructional Design Consultants available in breakout rooms for focused support : Sign up for sessions here!

  • Course Design Consultations: If you would like more personalized support for your course design, you can talk to one of Boise State’s Instructional Design Consultants.

Ask Questions about Canvas:

  • LTS Knowledge Base: Canvas Help Articles.

  • Call, Chat, or Email the Boise State Help Desk. The Help Desk Agents are able to assist with most topics and can direct you to the correct resources.

  • Canvas Q&A Zoom Sessions are also available to register for on the LTS Training Calendar.  These Zoom Sessions are free-form and first-come-first-serve. This is a great opportunity for a faculty member to work through Canvas Questions as they develop their courses in Canvas.
