Historically, s_accounts were used as a mechanism for student employees to retain their normal student roles in Canvas or other systems. Effective Jan 2025, s_accounts are the default mechamism for any employee who requires elevated Canvas access because these accounts can be are auto-deprovisioned upon separation from the university. |
