  1. Prepare your Achieve and Canvas Courses.

    1. Make sure your Achieve and Canvas courses are created and ready for integration. Without prepared courses, the integration cannot proceed.

  2. Go to your Achieve dashboard.

    1. Locate the Achieve Course you want to connect to Canvas.

    2. Click the ellipsis menu for the course.

    3. Select Edit Course.

  3. Edit Course Settings:

    1. Enter your course name, course code, and institution.

    2. Confirm/select the term and year.

    3. Set Course Status = Active on Date.

    4. Confirm/set the Activate on and Course End Dates. The course end date must be set to a future date for the integration to work.

    5. Confirm/set Start Week On.

    6. Set LMS Integration = Yes.

    7. Enter the remaining fields as desired.

    8. Click Save.

  4. Log in to the Canvas course that you want to link to your Achieve course.

    1. Go to Modules.

    2. Click the +Module button to create a new module.

    3. Enter a module name.

    4. Click Add Module.

  5. Click the + (plus) icon on the new module. (Figure 1)

    1. Select External Tool from the Add drop-down.

    2. Scroll and click on Macmillan LTI Advantage Course Tools (1.3).

    3. Click Add Item. You will be returned to your Modules list.
