Summary

This article explains how to start your ProctorU Record+ tests.

Instructions

  1. Be sure that you completed the steps for installing the browser extension.

  2. Have your Boise State student ID card or driver's license ready.

  3. Remove any non-exam related items from your workspace.

  4. Click the ProctorU icon in your toolbar and make sure that the browser extension is still signed in. If you’re having to sign in again, remember to enable the “Stay signed in” option on the log in page. close the ProctorU website after signing in successfully. You will launch your exam directly from Blackboard.

  5. Log in to Blackboard, select the course, and find your exam. After installing the browser extension, a ProctorU screen will appear when you click the exam link in Blackboard.

  6. Click the test, then click Begin. A ProctorU panel will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen to verify your identity (See this demonstration video).

  7. The test will begin after you complete the identity verification process.
