Instructions on how to determine a student’s last date of participation in their Canvas Course Site. This information is often requested by the Registrar’s Office concerning student’s financial aid awards.
Instructions
Log into Canvas and navigate to your course.
Select People from the Course Layout Menu
Click on the name of the Inactive Student (they are still listed even though they dropped)
A window will pop out on the right-hand side of the screen. Select Grades.
You will be taken to the Grades screen for that particular student. From there, locate the last turned in assignment, this contains the “last date of participation” the Registrar’s Office is looking for
