Note: this product was formally referred to as Review+. It was recently renamed to Record+, but it continues to work exactly as before.

ProctorU Record+ is a service that monitors students' online exams to ensure academic integrity. Using this service allows students to take exams at home. Record+ exams do not require scheduling.

How to Use Record+

  1. Create A ProctorU test-taker account
If you do not already have one, create a ProctorU account using your Boise State Student Email. Be sure to check your inbox for a verification link.

  2. Install the ProctorU browser extension
After creating an account, you will need to install the ProctorU browser extension to take tests. Refer to the instructions for installing the extension for this step.

  3. Run a compatibility-check before exam day
Refer to the steps for completing a compatibility check. Running a compatibility scan can help identify and resolve potential issues ahead of the exam. It is helpful to complete this step before your test becomes available. Skip this step if you're about to take your exam. If your scan indicates a problem, refer to the Common Issues Page page before contacting the Boise State Help Desk.

  4. Start your test
When you’re ready to take your test, start the exam by clicking the test link in your Blackboard course. Clicking the link will launch the Record+ service. Do not search for the test on ProctorU’s website. If you’re not sure what to do on exam day, see this page.
