For the remainder of the Spring 2020 term, the exams of some courses will be administered on Blackboard and monitored using ProctorU Review+, a service that relies on AI-based detection tools, as well as live proctors who review the footage. Students will not incur a cost by using this proctoring option. Exams will be proctored on demand, scheduling in advance will not be necessary. However, it is the students’ responsibility to remain aware of exam deadlines set by the instructor. It is also advised that you follow the compatibility verification requirements ahead of your exam date.
Student Requirements (Verify Before Test-Day)
Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (Other browsers are not supported).
Access to a ProctorU student account associated with your Boise State student email (create one here). For new users: please log into your email and click the ProctorU verification link immediately after you create a new account.
The ProctorU Browser Extension:
Boise State ID, or a form of Government ID.
Access to a computer with an external or built-in webcam and microphone (System Requirements).
Be sure that you are using a compatible web-browser, and that you have the ProctorU Browser Extension installed. Before taking an exam, you should verify that you meet the minimum technical requirements to use ProctorU. You should also use the automatic compatibility-check tool to test your compatibility before exam day. You can submit a ProctorU Support Request to work with support staff and resolve compatibility issues found by the tool. If you have worked with support staff, but are still unable to meet the technical requirements, please communicate with your instructor to seek solutions.
