Installing the Panopto App for Android Devices

Summary

This documentation will show you how to view Panopto videos using the Android Application on a tablet or phone.

Instructions

You will now be shown all recordings where you have access, sorted by date and showing the most recent first. To watch a recording, tap on the thumbnail.
Tap the screen to show the option to seek, adjust volume, rewind 10 seconds, play/pause, and fast forward

For offline viewing, go to All Sessions, then tap on the drop-down arrow for the video you want to view.
This should change the arrow to an X button while the video is downloading
Tap on the Menu in the top right-hand corner then choose Downloads
Here you should see the session you just chose for offline viewing. Alternately, you can click on the trash can icon to delete the offline recording.

The Panopto app allows you to preview and create recordings with the Remote Recorders where you have access. To access the Remote Recorders page click on the 3 dots on the top right of your screen, then tap Remote Recorders
From here you can see all of the Remote Recorders where you have access
Tap the Remote Recorder and begin recording. To change the duration of your recording tap on the clock icon on the bottom left of the screen. To adjust the options for the Remote Recorder, tap Options
From here you can choose the name of your recording as well as the destination folder and whether or not the session is a webcast
Tap red record button to begin the recording.
