This article will describe what Ally's accessibility indicators are, what they mean, and how to use them effectively.
Overview
Ally will provide you feedback on the accessibility of your course files with the colored dials that appear next to your file names (red, orange, light green, and dark green). These indicators are only visible to you and other instructors with access to your course. Ally can check most file formats, but there may be some files without an indicator next to them.
You can mouse over an indicator to see the accessibility score for the file. When you click the indicator, it will give you more information on how to improve your score. In some cases, the fix can be done directly in Ally. However, with some files (such as PowerPoint), you will need to open the file yourself and follow the instructions provided by Ally.
