Summary

Before you can join a iClicker Reef session, you must create an account. You only need one account no matter how many courses you are taking that use iClicker Reef. In this article we will show you how to create a student account.

Instructions

Create an iClicker Reef Account

Creating multiple accounts may result in not receiving credit for votes from the extra account. If you need to change your account information, edit your profile rather than create a new account.

  • Start the iClicker Reef student application
  • Open a browser and then go to app.reef-education.comdownload the iOS app from the App Store, or download the Android App from the Google Play Store.
  • Click "Sign Up!"
  • Find your institution and then click "Next".

  • Enter your information, put a check mark on Agreement Box, and then click "Next".

    It is important to use the correct student ID to avoid issues receiving your points. Please check your instructor’s directions.

  • Create a password and click "Create Account".

  • Your account has been created and your 2 week free iClicker Reef trial is ready to go!

Register an iClicker Classic Remote

  • The first time you sign in you will be asked to register your i>clicker remote. Click "Yes" if you will be using an iClicker Classic (remote).

    You are not required to use an iClicker Classic with iClicker Reef. If you will not be using a remote, click "Not Now". If you plan to use a remote, refer to the instructions for registering a remote. If you prefer, you can register a remote at a later time by editing your profile.

  • Enter your Clicker ID to register your account within iClicker Reef. You still may be required to register your iClicker through your course and grade software or online.
