Summary

Extended time accommodations will be applied by your instructor. All other accommodations will need to be indicated on ProctorU.

Extended Exam Time

  1. Follow the Educational Access Center’s (EAC) process for notifying your instructors and requesting your accommodations. You should contact the EAC if you have questions about requesting your approved accommodations.

  2. Reach out to your instructor and verify that your exam time limit has been extended.

All Other Accommodations

If your accommodations include a physical device, additional resources, or accessibility software, please follow the steps below. You are not required to complete the form for your extended-time accommodations (see above).

  1. Create a ProctorU test-taker account using your Boise State student email if you do not already have one.

  2. Complete this form to authorize that your EAC accommodation notes be added to your ProctorU account. No personal information will be listed, only the specific permissions granted by your accommodations (e.g. “Can use additional notes” or “Breaks permitted”).

Why is this necessary?

The permission notes are a way of informing ProctorU that you are permitted to use certain resources and that they should not be flagged when used.
