The article lists the steps for turning on the Canvas Ally tool in your Canvas Course Site.

Instructions

  1. Go to the Canvas Course you wish to turn the Canvas Ally tool on.

  2. Select Settings from the course navigation menu.

  3. Select the Navigation tab.

  4. Locate the Canvas Ally Tool, select the three-dots, select Enable.

    1. Or Drag and Drop the Canvas Ally Tool to the “visible” list at the top of the screen.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Save.

  6. Verify the Canvas Ally Tool now shows as available in the course navigation menu.

    1. Note, the tool could take up to 24 hours to fully “turn on” and process the course data.
