- Contact the Helpdesk to request a license key for log Camtasia Studio 2018 for Windows or Mac and SnagIt.
- These programs are for faculty and staff and there is no cost to them.
- Help Desk fills out the form.
- Use the SR Offering "Request Camtasia Studio for Screen Recording" or "SnagIt Request"
- An email will be automatically sent upon completion of the form from above to the requester with license key and link to the software download site
- Each Camtasia Studio license can be used on a Boise State and a personal computer.
June 19, 2018 - Additional Camtasia 2018 upgrade information
A new version Camtasia released 6/19/2018. A few things to keep in mind about this update. Camtasia 9 users are not entitled to an automatic upgrade to Camtasia 2018. However, if a faculty or staff member wants the new version, follow the established procedure of creating a service request, and complete the form linked to the Camtasia Studio and SnagIt Licensing page on the HD Documentation Google site. The requester will be automatically sent links to the software download site and the license key. We recommend uninstalling Camtasia 9 before installing Camtasia 2108. During the uninstall process, the user will be prompted to keep or delete media in the Camtasia Library. By choosing the default of keeping the files the user will have easy access to previous Camtasia projects.

NOTE: each Camtasia Studio license can be used by one user and can be installed to two computers (either BSU-owned or Personal)
