This article will show how to Suspend Participant's Activity in Zoom.

Please immediately install updates if prompted to do so by Zoom. The company regularly releases patches to address any security concerns.

Instructions

Suspending Participant's Activities.

With Zoom's new feature update, you can Lock meetings, Hide user Profiles, end share screening, disable chat, prevent sharing video and audio with the click of one button.

  1. Click on the Security icon in the bottom toolbar.

  2. Hover over Suspend Participants Activities in that pop-up menu and click on it.

  3. Another pop-up window will display. Click on the red Suspend button(Uncheck Report to Zoom if this is just a minor issue).

Enabling Participant's Activities after Suspending.

To enable the participant's key features again, you will need to manually enable each feature within the Security tab.

  1. Click on the Security icon in the bottom toolbar.

  2. In that pop-up menu, hover over the feature you want to enable(Hide Profile, Screen sharing, chat, video sharing, and audio) and select one of the options.

  3. By default, your Security pop-up window will save and close. Repeat Steps 1-2 to enable the rest of the features you would like participants to access.
