The Canvas SIS ID is a way to identify a specific Canvas Course Site. This ID is unique to each course and is useful to provide when reporting tech issues or requesting assistance with your Course Site.

Instructions

There are two options to use as Canvas SIS ID’s.

  • For finding the Canvas Course ID (Also Called SIS ID) is to use the unique number from the URL of the course’s Canvas Home Page.

This unique number can be found in the URL of your canvas course from the Home Page. Highlighted numbers.

  • Or, look in the Settings area of a Canvas Course Site
