Instructions
Be sure that you have followed completed the directions steps for installing the browser extension.
How to Install the Browser ExtensionHave your Boise State student ID card or driver's license ready.
Remove any non-exam related items from your workspace.
Click the icon (next to the address bar) ProctorU icon in your browser toolbar and make sure that the ProctorU browser extension is still you’re signed in to your ProctorU account.
If you’re having to sign in again, remember to enable the “Stay signed in” option on the log in pageportal. close Close the ProctorU website after signing in successfully. You will launch your exam directly from BlackboardCanvas.
Log in to BlackboardCanvas, select the course, and navigate to the find your exam.
Select the test (tests will only be visible on the dates specified by the instructor).
Click After installing the browser extension, a ProctorU screen will appear when you click the exam link in Canvas.
Click the test, then click Begin. A ProctorU panel will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen to verify your identity (See this demonstration video).
The test will begin after you complete the identity verification process.
