  • Join the Session: The presenter will open the session for 15 minutes for faculty to pop-in at their convenience.  After 15 minutes with no attendance, the session will close.

  • What: This space is for the first-come-first-serve Canvas Q&A Session. 

  • If you need an Introduction to Canvas, please check out our Learning about Canvas knowledge resource to get started!

  • Who: Faculty and Staff who are working in Canvas and have a question they would like to walk through with a member of LTS. 

  • When: We will offer these sessions regularly during different time slots to be available to as many users as possible.

What:

  • This is the equivalent of a “Canvas Consultation” for Faculty and Staff on Zoom.

When:

  • Daily (*check the LTS Training Calendar for a current schedule)

  • Not available on University Holidays and weekends

How to Join the Session

  • Go to the LTS Training Calendar for Dates and Times along with the Zoom Link.

    • Current Session: Join immediately

    • Future Session: Save the event to your Google Calendar using the “copy to my calendar” tool (see screenshot to the right)

    • Special Events! Other events associated with LTS are posted on this same Events Calendar.

  • The LTS representative will open the session on Zoom. Visitors are assisted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  • If zero users have joined the Zoom Session after 15 minutes, the session will close for that day.

Once an instructor has mastered the basics of Canvas, the next step is to schedule a consultation with an Instructional Design Consultant. These consultations can help with pedagogical questions, creative solutions, and tons of other other best practices in teaching
