How Does Lockdown Browser Make Exams More Secure?
Assessments are displayed full-screen and cannot be minimized
Browser menu and toolbar options are removed, except for Back, Forward, Refresh, and Stop
Prevents access to other applications including messaging, screen-sharing, virtual machines, and remote desktops
Printing and screen capture functions are disabled
Copying and pasting anything to or from an assessment is prevented
Right-click menu options, function keys, keyboard shortcuts, and task switching are disabled
An assessment cannot be exited until the student submits it for grading
Assessments that are set up for use with LockDown Lockdown Browser cannot be accessed with other browsers

Lockdown Work?
You can access the Respondus settings from the Course Tools menu in your Blackboard course. You can enable Respondus for specific assessments from this settings page. This process is covered in more detail in the ……. page. Your students will then be prompted to download the LockDown Browser when they start their assessment on test day.configure Respondus Lockdown for one of your exams from the Respondus Dashboard in Canvas.
Create and deploy the exams according to the instructions on preparing your tests.
