Summary

Blackboard course sites that are more than two years old but less than five years old become archived. This article will explain where you can go to request an older course be restored from the archive and what information you will need to provide so that we can locate your course.

Instructions

To have a course restored from Boise State’s course archive you will need to complete the form linked below.  You will need to provide the semester, year and class number of the archived course to ensure we are able to locate and restore it.  This information can be found via your PeopleSoft Faculty Center.

As of September 2021, Blackboard course sites for the past five years are archived and available upon request. 


To Request Access to the  Blackboard Archives, fill out the Blackboard Archives Access Request Form.

Once the form is processed (usually within 48 business hours) you will receive an email from LTS@boisestate.edu letting you know you have access to the Blackboard Archive environment for two weeks.  After two weeks has passed, your access will be revoked.  To regain access please fill out the form again.
