Summary Instructors who offered extra credit for the ProctorU compatibility-check experienced fewer technical issues on exam days. A short compatibility-check quiz has been created and is available to be uploaded to your course site. This article explains how to upload it. |
The attachment below contains a three-question Blackboard assessment which asks students to complete the compatibility check and upload their results. To begin, download the zipped package (do not extract it) then follow the instructions below.

Instructions
Under the Course Management menu of your Blackboard course site, expand Course Tools, then click Tests Surveys and Pools.
Select Tests, then click Import Test.
Click the Browse My Computer button and attach the Compatibility Check Assignment.zip file, then click Submit.
Click OK to return to your test bank. You should now be able to see the imported compatibility-check assessment among your tests. You should edit this test and assign as many points as you deem appropriate to the first question. The other questions' point value should remain set to 0.
Deploy the assessment for students. You may want to set the due date for this quiz to end before your first exam begins. This assignment is intended to help proactively find and resolve issues before the first exam.
