Summary

Gemini Apps (formerly Bard) is Google's conversational artificial intelligence chat service. It is similar to ChatGPT. At the time this article was published, Google Bard Gemini Apps has been activated only for faculty and staff; students do not have access to Google Bard Gemini through their Boise State accounts.

Instructions

  1. On your computer, go to bard gemini.google.com.

  2. If you’re not already signed in, sign in to your Boise State Google account.

  3. In the text box at the bottom, enter your question or prompt.

  4. To upload Optionally, to add a photo with to your prompt, click the Upload file button directly to the left of the prompt box, then select a photo to uploadImage.

  5. Click Submit.

Considerations

  1. Your conversations are processed by human reviewers to improve the technologies powering Gemini Apps. Don’t enter anything you wouldn’t want reviewed or used.

  2. Don’t use student information protected by FERPA with Gemini.

  3. You must be at least 18 to access Google BardGemini Apps.
