Instructions
If you have not yet done so, download and install Lockdown Browser from this link: https://download.respondus.com/Lockdown/download.php?id=497143110
In a standard browser (e.g. Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), navigate to your course and select the exam.
You will be prompted to launch LockDown Browser. Click the Open LockDown Browser button to proceed.
The default landing page for Lockdown Browser is the My Boise State portal. Log into your account and access Canvas. Navigate to the test within the course and select Begin Exam.
The test will then start (once a test has been started with Respondus Lockdown Browser, you cannot exit until the Submit button is clicked)Click the Begin button to start the quiz or exam.

Mac users may be prompted to approve permissions for Lockdown Browser to restrict access to certain features on your computer while you take an exam. Follow the on-screen prompts to grant the necessary permissions. |
