Must use Chrome browser |
Open Google Chrome, log in to Blackboard, open your course site
Go to any content area
Click Build Content
Click Hypothesis Link (Pilot)
Enter a name for the reading/link (e.g. “Lysistrata by Aristophanes” or “Week 2 Reading #3”)
Enter a description if desired
If you want this to be a graded assignment, choose Yes next to Enable Evaluation. Otherwise, leave No selected.
If graded, enter number of points for assignment
Choose other settings as desired (e.g. view tracking)
Click Submit
Click the link that you just created in the content area
Depending on type of material, select Enter URL of webpage or PDF or Select PDF from Google Drive
If webpage, paste URL and click Submit
If PDF is housed in Google Drive, pick a Google account to use with Hypothesis. Then select the desired PDF and click Select
The PDF or webpage is now hypothesis-enabled and can be annotated inside of Blackboard!
