Before you can join a an iClicker Reef sessionstudent app session, you must create an account. You only need one account no matter how many courses you are taking that use the iClicker Reefstudent app. In this article, we will show you how to create a student account.
Note: Physical clickers are no longer supported at Boise State. We recommend using mobile devices (laptops, cell phones, and tablets) for engaging synchronously and asynchronously.

Note

Creating multiple accounts may result in not receiving credit for votes from the extra account. If you need to change your account information, edit your profile rather than create a new account.

  • Open a Start the the iClicker Reef student applicationstudent app by opening a web browser and then go to app.reef-educationhttps://student.iclicker.comdownload the iOS app from the App Store, or download the Android App from the Google Play Store.
  • Click "Sign Up!"
  • Find your institution and then click "Next".

  • Enter your information, put a check mark on Agreement Box, and then click "Next".Scroll down and "select an Institution" choose Boise State University and Click "Go->"
  • From the BSU web login with your user credentials and authenticate the Duo security if needed

  • If you have created an iClicker account previously you'll be taking to the Chose your course from the courses list,

  • Note: if an iClicker login page appears, create a password and click "Create Account

  • Wait for the instructor to start the participation activity, such as poll questions or a quiz


    Note

    It is important to use the correct BSU student ID Email to avoid issues receiving your points. Please check your instructor’s directions.

  • Create a password and click "Create Account".

  • Your account has been created and your 2 week free iClicker Reef trial is ready to go!
